Note: The household gross monthly income must be at least 3 times the current housing charge in order to qualify. There is no subsidy available.

INTERVIEW: When a suite becomes available, applicants who qualify (based on occupancy and income requirements for the unit) will be invited to attend an interview with representatives of our Membership Committee. The interview will give us a chance to know you, explain how our Co-op works, to discuss how our Participation Policies match your volunteer skills and interests and to answer your questions. Individuals and families being interviewed will be asked to provide copies of last year’s CRA notice of assessment and proof of current income (e.g.: copy of the last four pay cheques/stubs).

SCREENING: We check the landlord references, employment and credit histories of all applicants. Only applicants with good credit histories will be accepted.

APPROVAL BY OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Our elected Board of Directors has the final responsibility for approving applications, based on the recommendations of our Membership Committee and Finance Committee.


IMPORTANT: We encourage all candidates, who had applied, to resubmit a new application each year as applications older than one year are not kept on file.
